V další sérii se představí Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris a Rory Reid
Chris Evans se v Top Gearu už neukáže, zbylí protagonisté budou k vidění méně

První série pořadu Top Gear po odchodu hvězdné trojice Clarkson-Hammond-May nebyla příliš úspěšná. Chris Evans coby hlavní představitel novodobé série měl k ruce celou řadu dalších protagonistů, ale sledovanost jednotlivých dílů neúprosně klesala. Evans nakonec odešel, nicméně Top Gear pokračuje dál. Nadcházející série se ovšem vrátí ke klasickému formátu s trojicí hlavních moderátorů.

Doporučujeme: První díl The Grand Tour poběží 18. listopadu

Hlavní roli převezme oblíbený americký herec Matt LeBlanc, který byl na rozdíl od Evanse fanoušky přijat velmi pozitivně. Totéž platí o Chrisu Harrisovi. Také ten bude součástí další série Top Gearu. Třetím do party bude Rory Reid. V nové sérii se ale budou pravidelně objevovat rovněž Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz a samozřejmě i Stig.

Zatímco bude redukovaná sestava připravovat další sérii Top Gearu, původní trojice finišuje přípravu vlastního pořadu The Grand Tour. Jeho první díl bude odvysílán osmnáctého listopadu.
